4.3.14 Checking the Surface of the Switch Cabinet
Requirement:
☐ The inverter must be disconnected (see 4.3.1 "Disconnecting the Inverter", page 19).
• Check whether the surfaces are damaged.
If the surfaces are damaged, perform repairs immediately, within 3 weeks at the latest.
If surfaces are corroded, perform repairs immediately, within 3 weeks at the latest.
4.3.15 Checking the Switch Cabinet for Corrosion
Requirement:
☐ The inverter must be disconnected (see 4.3.1 "Disconnecting the Inverter", page 19).
Required Material:
☐ For small-scale repairs, use a touch-up stick, brush, spray paint, or 2K-PUR acrylic paint in the
corresponding RAL color. Note the paint manufacturer's instructions.
☐ For repairs of extensive damage, use repair paint or 2K-PUR acrylic paint in the corresponding
RAL color. Note the paint manufacturer's instructions.
☐ Abrasive cloth
☐ Degreaser
1. Remove dirt.
2. For small-scale damage, treat the affected area as follows:
• Scour the surface.
• Clean the surface with degreaser.
• Paint the surface.
3. For extensive damage, treat the entire area as follows:
• Scour the surface.
• Clean the surface with degreaser.
• Paint the entire surface.
