Address settings
Configuring the board
Before you install the IK 115 in a PC, you must set the base
address of the board. The base address leaves the factory with
the base address 310H.
The IK 115 occupies 16 successive addresses in the I/O
address range of the PC. This setting should be exchanged only
if the I/O address range 310H to 31FH on your PC is already
occupied by another board.
In this case you must find a vacant I/O address range in your
PC. This address range must begin at a 16-byte segment
limit and can lie in the range of 000H to 3F0H. If you cannot
find the address ranges of other hardware in your PC, or if a
hardware conflict occurs, please ask your system
administrator or your computer dealer for help.
If necessary, you can set the new base address at the switch
row S1.
