Manual configuration of the encoder parameters
The cable between the encoder and IK 115 must not be
connected or disconnected while under power. Otherwise
the encoder and the IK 115 might be damaged.
Connect the encoder to the input X1 of the IK 115 before you
make the entries described in the following dialog, and
closely comply with the following safety precautions.
If you do not know the ID number of the encoder, or if the
encoder is not included in the database, you must enter the
encoder’s parameters by hand. Select [ Encoder > Manual
setup ].
Click the button to open the dialog for entering
the encoder’s basic data. In this dialog you must select the
correct encoder supply voltage and the encoder type.
If incorrect data were entered in the following dialog, it might
result in damage to the connected encoder, the IK 115 and the
PC.
