Representation of the data
The value of the data word can also be shown in various ways.
If the value of a data word is figurative in meaning (e.g. ID
number, serial number, and direction of rotation), the value is
shown according to its meaning.
Such entries are identified with a “T” in the entry icon. All other
data words are shown as numbers. The numerical notation is
selectable. The assignment is as follows:
“B” in the entry icon = Binary notation ([ View > Binary ])
as is used in the EnDat specification.
“D” in the entry symbol = Decimal notation ([ View >
Decimal ])
“H” in the entry symbol = Hexadecimal notation
