Display and Inspection Capabilities
Positions display
The actual position of the encoder can be displayed in various
forms.
However, it is displayed only if position updating is activated
in the program.
It can be activated either through
œ [ Encoder > Position Update]
or through the
œ switch in the toolbar.
Position display in the encoder data bar
In the encoder data row (see above illustration) the absolute
position of the encoder is shown as a decimal value. The value
is shown that was transmitted by the encoder. There is no
conversion to path length or angular position.
