For many encoders, the machine tool builder can change the
encoder parameters. If you enter the ID number of such an
encoder, a corresponding message appears. If the encoder
does not function properly, ask your machine tool builder for
the current encoder parameters, because the database
contains only parameters that were set by HEIDENHAIN.
If the entered ID number does not match the ID number of
the connected encoder, any attempt to use the IK 115 could
result in damage to the encoder, the IK 115, and the PC.
If all displayed data are correct, and if the encoder is connected
to input X1, you can exit the dialog by clicking the
button.
