Audio

Audio/Intercom DIP switch settings (S660-S664):

intercom is achieved. Only use this

setting when a compressor is available!

When disabled, a digital intercom

compressor is activated.

ICOM 4W

enabled: 4-wire mode intercom is selected

disabled: 2-wire mode intercom is selected

PRIV.DATA

always keep disabled; factory setting.

ISOLATE ICOM

when enabled all intercom input and output

signals are isolated

Audio settings

The following are the settings for the audio signals applied
to the rear of the wireless adapter and the side of the camera
head. They can be made in the camera head menu and on the
Audio/Intercom board of the WCU:

Select 1 or 2 audio channels

The number of audio channels is selected in the systems
menu of the camera head. In the INSTALL menu go to
the Audio submenu where you can select either 1 or 2.

Select audio gain mode

The audio gain mode is selected in the systems menu
of the camera head. In the INSTALL menu go to the
Audio submenu where you can select whether Gain
Control is LOCAL (under VF menu control) or EXTERNAL
(under MCP control or resistor chain control in the
WCU)

Follow the Disable and Enable positions shown in this

drawing. Ignore the screening on the board itself.

Select audio source

The audio source is selected in the systems menu of the
camera head. In the INSTALL menu go to the Audio
submenu where you can select the source.
Menu path:

Install / Audio / Audio Source

Select audio gain

The audio gain is set in the system menu of the camera
head. In the INSTALL menu go to the Audio submenu
where you can set the gain for both channels.
Menu path:

Install / Audio / Audio 1(2) Gain

Select audio output level and delay

Ensure power is disconnected.

Remove the board marked Audio/Intercom from the
WCU.

Locate the AUD 6dB DIP-switch on the board.

Use the table below to set the audio output level to
enable (+6dB) or disable (0dB).

Locate the DELAY DIP-switch on the board.

Use the table below to enable the Delay function. (The
audio delay function delays the audio signal so that it
is synchronised with the video signal.)
