Security settings
Anti-virus software
To ensure the secure running of the iMC BIMS server, you are recommended to install an anti-virus
software, and update the virus library in time.
Port settings
To ensure the steady running of the iMC BIMS server, you are recommended to use a firewall to control
the data sent to the iMC BIMS server cluster, or, in other words, filter the non-service data sent to the iMC
BIMS server. In this way, abnormal attacks can be effectively prevented.
CAUTION:
You are recommended to use ACL configurations on a firewall rather than on a switch to control data
packets; otherwise, packet fragmentations will be filtered.
Make sure the port numbers to be used by the components of iMC BIMS are not in use. Table 9 lists the
port numbers.
