On the Upload Configuration File tab of the page as shown in Figure 1 , click Browse… to select a
configuration file from the PC, and click Upload. The selected configuration file will appear on the
Configuration File Information tab. Then click
to import the configuration file to the ACG or IPS card.

Upgrade Methods and Flow
Upgrade Methods
You can upgrade software in one of the following three ways:
• Upgrade software on the Web interface. For the upgrade procedure, see “ Application Upgrade on
the Web Interface ” on page 10 .
• Upgrade the BootWare program and an application using Xmodem through the serial interface.

• Upgrade applications using TFTP/FTP through an Ethernet interface. For the upgrade procedure,
see “
Upgrading Applications with TFTP ” on page 30 and “ Upgrading Applications with FTP ” on

The second and third are called conventional software upgrade methods.
