• Turn on the power source.
• Turn on the power switch of the access controller.
Checks after powering on the access controller (recommended)
After powering on the access controller, check that:
• The cooling system works normally. You should be able to hear the fans working and feel air
flowing from the air exhaust.
• The LEDs on the switch interface board panel work normally.
Table 24 describes the status of the LEDs on the switch interface board upon access controller power-on.

1 The four optical combo port LEDs (yellow) become steady on.
2 The optical combo LEDs go off.
3 The 10GE interface module LED (green) becomes steady on (with an interface module in place).

All the LEDs go into normal indication status.

• The system LEDs on the main control board panel work normally.
