Playing back the recording
1 To return to the beginning of the song (ZERO
point), press and hold the STOP (ª) button and
press the REW (Ô) (TO ZERO) button (TO ZERO
function).
2 Press the PLAY (Á) button to play back the
recording on TRACK 1.
3 Use the TRACK 1 fader and the MASTER fader to
adjust the playback monitoring level. Use the
PHONES LEVEL knob to adjust the final monitoring
volume.
TIP
Use the TRACK 1 PAN knob to set the stereo position
when monitoring.
Recording a guitar to TRACK 2
We will listen to the rhythm guitar on TRACK 1 as we
record the lead guitar on TRACK 2.
Follow these procedures to change the recording source.
1 Press the ASSIGN button to open the
INPUT
ASSIGN
screen.
On this page you can set the recording source for
each track to INPUT A or INPUT B.
By default, the recording source for tracks 1, 3, 5 and
7 is set to INPUT A (
A
), and the recording source for
tracks 2, 4, 6 and 8 is set to INPUT B (
B
).
2 Press the TRACK 2 REC button to set the
SOURCE
for
TRACK 2
to
A
.
3 Press the HOME button to return to the Home
Screen.
4 Press the TRACK 2 REC button. The TRACK 2 REC
indicator blinks and the unit enters record standby.
When you play guitar, the input level is shown by the
level meters for “
” (INPUT A) and “
” (TRACK 2) on
the display.
