OPERATION

Do not throw items into the storage area.

Failure to follow these recommendations could

result in damage to the interior of the cabinet.

Temperature control instruction

Refrigerators: A thermostat located on the evaporator coil in

the interior of the unit, controls the temperature in the box.

The unit should maintain 38˚F(3˚C), with the factory control

setting at 5 or 6. Set toward “1” for warmer temperatures

and toward “7” for colder temperatures.

Freezers: A thermostat located on the evaporator coil in the

interior of the unit, controls the temperature in the box. The

unit should maintain -3˚F(-18˚C), with the factory control

setting at 6. Set toward “1” for warmer temperatures and

toward “7” for colder temperatures.

Refrigeration cycle

Refrigerators: The evaporator fans will run continuously

unless a door is open. The door switch will activate the

lights when opened and turn power off to the evaporator fan

motors.

1. The temperature control allows for the evaporator coil to

clear after each off cycle and before the compressor runs

again.

2. Anti-sweat heaters around each door opening operate

continually.

Freezers: The defrost timer supplies power to the temperature

control (for power to the condensing unit) and evaporator fan

motors. The door switch will activate the lights when opened

and turn power off to the evaporator fan motors.

1. Defrost Cycle, 20 minutes every 4 hours.

2. Anti-sweat heaters around each door opening operate

continually.

On/Off Switch:

An ON/OFF switch is located on the front of the evaporator coil

housing. When the unit is on, the switch will illuminate.
