Ensure the Prime Test box is unchecked. It will also be necessary to set the correct COM Port before the
first Upload action (see Using Bluetooth). Once set the program will remember it unless changed by the
user.
If you have Tagged Assets in the Upload file (xpg) the Only upload tagged assets checkbox will be
available and if you only wish to Upload tagged Assets then ensure this box is checked.
Select Upload on the Upload display. Use the tester’s menu system to select Remote Mode then
acknowledge the advisory message on the PDA and the Upload will commence.
Having prepared the tester for re-testing, use PATGuard Work About as a ‘To do’ list of Assets to be
tested while carrying out re-tests. Please refer to the tester User Instructions concerning Automatic testing
from Upload Assets.

Only the Seaward Supernova, Europa PAT and PrimeTest 300 / 350 family of testers can be downloaded
direct to PATGuard Work About. Supernova and Europa PAT type testers will require a Bluetooth SNEU
Adaptor (see Accessories) if your PDA does not have an RS232 serial port. If this is the case the
Bluetooth SNEU Adaptor will need to be paired with the PDA (see Bluetooth Pairing- Supernova and
Europa Testers) before the first Upload or Download action.
To Download Test Results to PATGuard Work About, select Download from the Tools pop-up. A Save
As… window is displayed so that a directory can be chosen and filename given for the Download file.

Once the file Name has been entered and Save selected, the Download display appears.
