Antenna
This screen allows entry of the antenna offset to adjust vertical height for a tripod or pole
mount, use the Slant Height for this entry. The available range is 0 to +32767mm. The
Phase Center values for the NavCom recommended antennas, and the self contained
pole mount receivers can be obtained from the NavCom Website by selecting Antenna
Calibration Values at
http://www.navcomtech.com/Support
(following this link:
http://www.navcomtech.com/Support/DownloadCenter.cfm?category=antenna
). Then
click on the appropriate product line to obtain the phase center values for that specific
product. The Phase Center values are also on a sticker located on the bottom of
NavCom antennas.
The negative or positive sign for the Phase Center Adjustment is chosen via the drop-
down list just left of the value input field.
The Radius information of the antenna is given in the product User Guide. The Pole
Mount versions of NavCom GPS receivers have two radius values; one to the outermost
edge of the antenna bumper, and the second to the outermost edge of the battery
compartment.
