NOTE: Keep screw plugs for

future abandonment.

880 Series Floor Box Applications:

Step 1 Remove the mud cap and

adjust the floor plate to be
1/8

[3.2mm] below the final

floor finish.

Step 2 Place the gasket over the floor

plate and attach the cover using
(3) #8 flat head screws.

Step 3 Remove the center screw

plug and pull cables through
the opening.

Step 1 Remove any plaster ears before wiring and attaching

the receptacle.

Cover Attachment:

Step 2 Place the gasket support plate over the receptacle and

attach with #6 round head screw.

Step 3 Place Gasket over the gasket support plate.

Step 4 Attach cover with (3) #8 flat head screws. Complete

installation by pushing the box assembly into the
hole until seated firmly against the floor finish.
