LCD MENU AND FEATURES
The GXV3140 ’s user-friendly LCD MENU provides easy access to a host of features and convenient tools
to help simplify a user’s business and personal life. Essentially, the GXV3140 can act like a personal
assistant in many ways. In this section, we’ll explore the LCD MENU and Features and explain how users
can take full advantage of the GXV3140 ’s capabilities.
PHONE BOOK
Users can manage their contacts via the phone book. The phone book supports features such as
add/delete/modify contacts, downloadable phone book from the TFTP/HTTP server as well as the ability to
save the phonebook to the PC. Phone book supports up to 50 contact groups, with each group
containing a maximum of 500 contacts.
To access the phone book, select MENU-> Phone Book. Users may also access the phone book with the
Phone book button on the phone. Select the Phone Book to display the figure below:

As shown in figure 21, every contact contains an Extension number, Phone number, Mobile number, Fax
number and the group it belongs to. On the lower right hand corner, it shows that the total capacity of the
phone book is 500 contacts, as well as the number of used contacts. User may dial the contact by pressing
