MODEL 2020 HAND PUMP FEATURES AND BENEFITS
031973
03/07/03
High Capacity
Delivers a pint plus (1/2 liter) per stroke.
Heavy Duty Construction
The pump is constructed from Nylon 66 with a 20% glass fill. The glass fill
content is in the body of the cap piston rod, handle, and linkage.
Reliable
The estimated life is 45,000 hours.
Versatile
Designed to dispense hundreds of products, such as oils, antifreeze,
toluene, acetone, brake fluid, washer fluid, soaps, inks, etc.
Polypropylene Telescoping Suction
Adjusts to various tank or drum sizes. Resistant to a wide range of
chemicals.
Check Valve
Holds product at pump level eliminating the need to prime the pump at each
use.
Dual Thread Fitting
The pump may be mounted on metal or plastic drums, no special adapters
are required.
Non-Drip Nozzle
Avoids mess. At the completion of pumping, the product in the nozzle will
return to the pump body. This product action creates a vacuum that pulls
the product from the end of nozzle back down to the pump. The nozzle has
a “bayonet-style” attachment which keeps the nozzle firmly attached.
Molded Grip Handle
The ergonomic design allows for a firm and comfortable grip.
Easy Dismantling
Although there are no replacement parts available, the pump may be
disassembled for cleaning. Some chemicals or herbicides can build up and
harden. The pump can be dismantled and soaked in diesel fuel or solvent.
To dismantle the pump, place the pump between your knees (making sure
the handle is closed tightly) with the base of the pump facing forward.
Firmly grasp the body of the pump with both hands and turn counter-
clockwise. The pump can now be slipped apart in two pieces.
Viton Shaft and Top Casting Seals
Viton seals provide a tight seal and resistance to a wide range of chemicals.
Ribbed Nozzle
The nozzle may be cut just short of the ribs to allow attachment of a hose.
The hose should be slipped over the ribs and clamped with a hose clamp.
SPECIAL NOTES:
Before using this product, ensure the nozzle is secured. Pound or tap the nozzle until fully seated, then rotate
clockwise ½ inch. If this is not done, the nozzle could fall off during dispensing. Also, tap the suction pipe in as far
as possible and then turn ¼” of a turn. This will ensure a tight seal.
The 2020 is designed for dispensing fuel from a stationary container. Excessive movement of product in a mobile
tank could cause the suction pipe to eventually drop from the pump.
