Gasboy CFN Series

Gasboy MasterCard Fleet

This special card handler can locally authorize MasterCard fleet cards.

Cards Affected:

Gasboy Club cards

MasterCard Fleet

Overview

When a card is swiped, the special handler identifies if this is a MasterCard Fleet or a Gasboy
Club card and marks the transaction to be checked against the special lockout routine.

To identity which MasterCard Fleet ISO numbers you wish to locally authorized at your site,
there must be a positive lockout file named

mciso.dta

located on the E: drive. This file should be

an ascii file and contain a list of 6 digit ISO numbers separated by CR/LF characters. If the ISO
number of a swiped MasterCard Fleet card is not found in the file, the card will not be converted
for local Authorization. If the file doesn't exist, MasterCard fleet cards cannot be authorized and
an error message will be logged to the log printer on each attempt.

MasterCard Fleet cards that match the ISO list are converted into a Gasboy supervisor club card
format with the 1st 6 digits to be manually entered (the prompt is determined by trfmt
configuration and this 6 digit manually entered number can be locked out using the site's
lockout.)

The next 10 digits are taken from the 10 digit account data of the MasterCard Fleet card. If

the club account length is configured for more than sixteen digits, then the remaining digits will
be filled with zeros. The price level, limitation, and authorization will be set to zero and the
restriction code will be set to require odometer entry.

If the site is configured to lockout locally authorized CLUB cards, the 10 digit account number
from the converted MasterCard fleet cards and Gasboy Club cards will be checked against the

mcf.dta

negative lockout file located on the PCMCIA RAM card (E: drive.) If the account

number is found in the file, the card is invalid.

The

mcf.dta

file must be a sorted, ASCII file maintained and uploaded by the Gasboy PC

software package and is limited to 20,000 records. If this file doesn't exist, a “down try later”
prompt will be displayed for both MasterCard fleet and Gasboy club cards.
