Mounting Nozzle Boot And Nozzle Hook
12. Remove the (4) screws from existing nozzle boot and remove nozzle boot. Replace with new nozzle boot (item
19) and assemble with existing screws or supplied screws (Item 21).
13. Remove hardware from existing nozzle hook and remove hook. Replace with new nozzle hook (item 20) and
assemble with existing hardware.
Mounting Hose to Retriever
14. Lubricate the new inverted hose threads and O-rings with a white lithium based grease and thread the hose
onto the pump. Tighten the hose/pump connection. Do not use pipe thread compound or Teflon tape on
hose connection.
15. With white grease, lubricate the threads on the opposite end of the hose and install the breakaway. Lubricate
and thread the second section of the hose into the breakaway.
16. Thread nozzle onto the hose and tighten. NOTE: For additional installation instructions, refer to specific
procedures supplied with the breakaway and nozzle.
17. Assemble clamp to hose and position so that hose does not touch ground when nozzle is hung in nozzle boot.
Pull out hose and check operation of the retriever and lay of hose.
