Off-Hook Ringing
The emergency telephone can generate a ringing signal from the speaker when the telephone is called.
The factory default setting for this feature is “disabled.”

: In addition to enabling this feature, the Auto-Answer feature must also be enabled for proper
operation.

Enabling the Off-Hook Ringing feature allows a person to call the
telephone and have the telephone function as a normal telephone.
The telephone will ring after the splash tone is heard in the receiver
if remote programming is not commenced within 7 seconds of the
splash tone.
To enable the ringing feature (enable splash tone and ringing), L=1.
To disable the ringing feature (only splash tone on the phone), L=0.

Telephones equipped with a CALL
push button can be answered when they are ringing by pressing the
push button.
