Certain parameters must be set at the printer to configure the verifier. You only need to
make these settings once since they remain in memory after the printer and verifier are
turned off.
Printer Settings
To set up the 9864 printer to operate with the verifier:
1. Set the printer to Offline mode. If you see "ONLINE x JOBS" press Online.

2. Press Prog • Esc to access the menus.

3. Press Cut twice.

4. Press Online to access the Interface Parameters menu.

5. Press Cut five times.

6. Press Online to access the Options menu.

7. Press Cut.

8. Press Online to access the Online Verifier menu. The options are Disabled, Serial
Com1, or Serial Com2.
9. Press Cut or Feed to display the port where the verifier is connected and press
Online. The system restarts and you see
