You may receive the following error messages when using the verifier.
Status Number Description
4100
NO OLV data The verifier could not read any bar code data. No bar code was
seen. This error may be reported if the "OLV PARAMETER - Dist.
head-beam" value is set too large or too small. It may also be
reported if the verifier is not connected.
4101
OLV limit exceed
Bar code grade failure. The bar code was read, but it did not pass.
Make sure the "OLV PARAMETERS" are set to their default values.
Check for normal print quality problems with the printhead, ribbon,
and tag/label supply. Try lowering the value of "ANSI Symbolgrade."
4103
OLV bar code type Only occurs when "OLV PARAMETER – Verify mode – Easyplug
select" is enabled. The verifier has detected the wrong bar code
type. Make sure the print data specifies the correct bar code type.
To resume printing after an error:
1. Press Online to clear the error.
2. Press Feed to resume printing. The correct number of good bar code labels/tags is
printed.
Cover Part Numbers
Using the verifier requires a special cut-out cover on the printer. The following table lists
the part numbers for the cut-out covers. Call Service if you did not receive a cut-out
cover.
