Setting the IP Parameters
The IP parameter settings can either be fixed, or they can be requested from
a DHCP server every time the printer is turned on. The DHCP server provides
a name for the printer on request, which consists of a combination of printer
type + 3 digits from the MAC address. (e.g. 9854___300dpi_020049).
The following values are preset:
– IP address: 192.168.1.99
– Net mask: 255.255.255.0
– Default gateway: 0.0.0.0

Connection to a name server is not required.

WARNING: Ask your network administrator for assistance to assign IP
addresses.
Sending Data Using a TCP Server
You can send data using a TCP/IP server (port number > 1024).
This protocol is supported by

Windows 2000 or Windows XP
You can set the port address in the printer’s parameter menu:
