6. Turn on printer and go to online mode.
7. Press Online and Esc at the same time.
The first file on the CF card is displayed:
8. Select the file “TEST1.FOR” by pressing Cut or Feed.
9. Press Online.
10. Enter the print quantity.
Quantity 3 appears as default, since this was preset in the print job.
To increase the quantity to 10, for example, follow these steps:
11. Press Esc. This erases the 3.
12. Press Feed to incrementally increase (up to a max. of 9) the quantity of
labels to be printed.
13. Press Online to advance one position. To enter a number with two or more
digits, press Feed to increase the second digit. If the number has one digit,
press Online again.
The printer prints the number of labels you entered.
AVERY.FOR In the AVERY.FOR file, this works differently. Once the file is selected, you
see
In the second line, the printer prompts for the first data field. “Color” is a
prompt and therefore not printed. The preset data of the print job is “Lightred.”

Without a keyboard you can enter the desired text in characters. Entering
letters works the same way as digit entry (see example TEST1.FOR). Using
Cut or Feed, scroll through the available set of characters until the character
you need appears. Press Online to advance by one position. After entering
the last character, press Online twice.

With a keyboard you can enter different data.
¯ If your data is longer than allowed, an error message is displayed.
The next input field is displayed and then the next etc., until all input fields are
entered.
Then, enter the print quantity.
