Selecting files from Compact Flash card
Requirements
•
Files must have an .FOR (print job) extension and be saved on the CF card
in the \FORMATS directory.
¯ If no files are found in the \FORMATS directory, or if no CF card is
inserted, you see
Selecting a file 1. Press Online + Esc to get into standalone mode.
You see
Files are listed alphabetically.
2. Press Cut or Feed to see the next file.
¯ Press Esc to return to the first entry in the list.
3. Press Online to start processing the file.
4. Press Online+Esc to return to online mode.

Quick selection ¯ If an external keyboard is connected, type in the first letter of the file name
to select the file.
Example:
After changing to standalone mode, you see
« Press the key for the first letter of the file name you need, for example: D.

Avery.for Avery.for stands for any print job file, which is
stored in the \FORMATS folder.
