31 DVI and Australian units: Proceed with steps A through J below.  
DVS: Proceed with step 15 on page 13. 

A. Remove the rheostat cover from the inside top of the face (both sides) as shown below. 

 

 

 

  

 

B. Remove the switch blank from the slot in the face. 

NOTE: Installers of Australian units may disregard this step. 

 

C. Place the face in position in front of the insert. Do not attach it yet. 
D. Route the wires from the base of the face to the rheostat housing.  

 

 

 

 

Route the wires through this slot. 
This prevents damage to the wires 
when installing.
