4.6.1
PCIe Mini-Card for WiFi/WiMAX
The COMX-CAR-210 has a PCI Express Mini-Card connector that conforms to and supports PCI
Express Mini-Card Electromechanical Specification 1.1 wireless devices, such as the Intel®
WiMAX/WiFi Link 5050 and the Intel® WiFi Link 5000 series, implementing both PCI Express
and USB interfaces.

USB
There are eight USB 2.0 ports on the board. Four of them are on the rear IO port, with one fixed
port for the eUSB flash and another that switches between the Mini-Card and eUSB flash header
through a USB MUX device. The next two ports are on a nine-pin header and all support low-
speed, full-speed, and high-spreed transfer rates using the USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller
Interface (EHCI).
