4.6 PCI Express
The COMX-CAR-210 has defined six groups of PCIe x1 signals. All of these signals should be
routed to the slots or devices. The lanes 1-4 are x4 PCIE slot. The lane 5 is multiplexed as a PCIe
x1 slot and a PCIe mini-card slot. The lane 6 is routed to an optional x1 slot, which is placed on
the opposite side of the rear IO. It can be described by the following block diagram.
The design also provides one x16 PCIe slot which can be used for PEG. The PEG signal lane is
multiplexed with the SDVO signals.
