16. ELECTRONIC CONTROL BOX INSTALLATION,

cont’d (2000-2005 MODELS ONLY)

N. Connect the blue wire from the timing

controller to the blue wire leading to the

engine compartment.

O. Connect the blue/red wire from the tim-

ing controller to the blue wire leading to

the vehicle’s computer.

P.

Cut the green wire (20 TDC1P) on the

31P connector and install one male and

one female slide connector onto each

end.

Q. Connect the green wire from the timing

controller to the green wire leading to

the engine compartment.

R. Connect the green/red wire from the tim-

ing controller to the green wire leading

to the vehicle’s computer.

S.

Cut the yellow wire (29 TDC2P) on the

31P connector and install one male and

one female slide connector onto each

end.

T.

Connect the yellow wire from the timing

controller to the yellow wire leading to

the engine compartment.

U. Connect the yellow/green wire from the

timing controller to the yellow wire lead-

ing to the vehicle’s computer.

V.

Tap the yellow/black wire from the timing

controller into the blue (19 ned) wire on

the 32P connector.

W. Route the supplied vacuum line to the

rubber grommet that the vehicle’s com-

puter wires go out of. Punch a small

hole in the rubber grommet and push

NOTE: it does not matter which two red

and tan wires you use to signal the

supplement injector.

the vacuum line out through the hole.

Route the vacuum line up to the FMU

and connect into it using the provided

brass TEE.

Y.

Connect the other end of the vacuum

line to the FTC with the provided plastic

vacuum line tap.

Z.

(2004-2005 Models) There are four

injector plugs running from the control

box. Run one plug through the firewall to

the supplementary injector installed in

the charge cooler. Connect the plug to

the injector. (See Fig. 16-g.)

AA. (2004-2005 Models) Secure the remain-

ing injector wires.
