asterisk in front of the module name, the rack does not recognize the module. To correct the problem,
see troubleshooting.

2. 2. 2. 2. 2. It is a good idea to ensure that the 4X register and the 3X+3 Status word are set up properly. As a quick
check, disable all ladder programming and set the 4X register to 0000 hex.

The most probable reasons for the LED not illuminating are:

The PLC system is not receiving power from its power supply.
•
The module is located in a defective PLC rack slot.
•
The module is defective.
