Serial Interface
The RS232 serial interface can be used to enter commands using the same command
format as the infrared remote. The serial rate is 9600 BAUD with 8 data bits, no parity bit
and one stop bit. No hardware or software flow-control is used. The following table
defines the ASCII characters used along with their functions. Each ASCII character is
entered without pre-amble or post-amble. Note, all commands except “power on” are
ignored in standby mode.
