Output Position

Note:

Generally, this command should not be used. Instead use the display’s position controls.

Reposition the active display. An example use for this command is to match fixed display
timing requirements. This command can also be used to match the pass-through input
timing.

Aspect Ratio.

Select the screen aspect ratio. The screen aspect ratio range is 1.33 (4:3) to 2.35 and is
entered in units of hundredths (e.g. 2.35 is entered as

Graybar Intensity

Note:

Consult a home theater specialist for assistance setting the graybar intensity.

Some displays have significant burn-in issues (e.g. CRT and Plasma), while others do not
(e.g. DLP). Some degree of burn-in will occur on any susceptible display, but this
command can help minimize it by allowing the intensity of graybars to be adjusted.

The command format is:

Output Black Pedestal

This command specifies if there is an output black pedestal. The default is 0 IRE, but
some projectors require the 7.5 IRE setting. The command format is:

Output Mode

When set to factory-defaults, changes to the output settings affect all configuration
memories. It is possible to have independent output settings for each configuration
memory by setting the output to independent mode (

INDEP

).

Some source devices can dynamically switch their output type between NSTC, PAL and
SECAM. To allow precise calibration for these formats, two additional output modes
(

AUTOA/B

and

AUTOINDEP

) are provided, and are similar to the

SAME

and

INDEP

modes,
