Isolation
The Isolation tab allows you to run a
resistance test over a period of time to
look for high-resistive faults. This
method may also reveal poor wire
insulation. Select the type of
Connection to be tested. The available
choices are: Tip-Ring, Tip-Gnd,
Ring-Gnd.
Note: If the ANSI standard is used, the tab
name Isolation changes to
Stress/Leakage.
To start/stop the test:
1. Press the up/down arrow keys to
highlight the desired test
parameter.
2. Press to open the list.
3. Press the up/down arrow keys to highlight the desired value, then press
to select it.
4. Press to start/stop the test.
Test results are displayed on the screen as they are completed.
