Program Flow Control and
Breakpoints
Three new buttons appear on the main
simulation panel. They are shortcut
buttons for the Simulation menu
functions.
} single step through the simulation
| | pause the simulation at the current line
> start [ ] stop the simulation
Breakpoints can be placed or removed
from the program by clicking on the line
number in the margin. Alternately the
Toggle breakpoint under the Simulate
heading may be used to insert/remove
a breakpoint at the current cursor
position. Breakpoints are indicated by a
red bar in the margin.
The >> button displays the variables
panel.
Other Simulation Options will be discussed and demonstrated in future projects as they are used.
To end the simulation click the yellow simulate button in the menu line at the top of the screen.
