1. Network Time – M4FM will automatically acquire the network time from the host server. Set
the Time Zone and Daylight Savings for your region.
2. Misc. Settings – Sets many of the tuners basic features.
a. Audio muting - The M4FM’s audio output can be set to automatically mute for received
signals with signal strength less than 45dBf.
b. RF loss pad - Attenuates the amount of RF to the tuner in high RF areas by -30 dB
c. De-Emphasis - Switch between 75µsec and 50µsec. M4FM is set to 75µsec by default.
Press ENTER after making a selection to save and EXIT to the previous menu.
d. Region – Sets the tune spacing to 100 kHz for Euro or 200 kHz for US. Default setting
is set to US.
e. Alarms lock tuning – Enables and disable front panel and webserver tuning while
alarms are set.
f. Auto backlight off – Enabling this feature will turn the LCD backlight off after 120
seconds. Waking the tuner up by tuning from the webserver or pressing any of the 3
