placing your new sewing machins in its portable case.

d a m a g e i n s h i p p i n g . After unpacking the sewing machine unit, being
c e r t a i n ‘ o t a k e out t h e i n s t r u c t i o n b o o k , g u a r a n t e e a n d a c c e s s o r y b o x ,
l a y t h e u n i t face down on a table. You will see two clamping screws A
e n t e r i n g h e a d h i n g e holes B o n the underside of the back.
O n t h e b a s e y o u will find two head hinges C which will fit into holes B.
L o w e r the base onto the sewing machine fitting hinges C into holes B.
T i n h t s n screws A securely with a screw driver.
T o m a k e the e l e c t r i c a l c o n n e c t i o n d r a w the t w o w i r e s through the slot in the
partition of t h e base. Plug the cord labeled “Motor” into the receptacle marked
“ M o t o r ” o n t h e b l o c k attached to the outer section of the base.
T h e n i n s e r t the other cord i n t o the “Light” receptacle.
