NOM

This command changes or reports back state of NOM

attenuation for each channel.

[DEVICE] NOM

Explanation

CH= 1-4

Parameter to apply to the specified direct

output channel

CH= A-D, T Parameter to apply to the specified line

output

X=0

Parameter to set NOM attenuation to OFF

X=1

Parameter to set NOM attenuation to ON

X=Null

Parameter to return the current state of

NOM attenuation

Return Values

The command will return the updated condition (On=1,

Off=0) of NOM attenuation for the selected channel in the

same format as the command.

NULL

This command sends a short noise burst down the telephone

line and forces the AP400 to adapt to the telephone line.

[DEVICE] NULL

Return Values

If the NULL succeeds, the following is returned out the serial

port: [DEVICE] NULL

If the NULL fails, the following is returned out the serial port:

[DEVICE] NULL

OFFA

This command changes or reports back the setting of off

attenuation.

[DEVICE] OFFA

Explanation

X=0-50

Parameter to set the amount of off attenuation

(in dB)

X=Null

Parameter to return the current value of off

attenuation

Return Values

The command will return the updated value of off attenuation in

the same format as the command.

PAA

This command selects or returns the current status of the PA

adaptive mode.

[DEVICE] PAA

Explanation

X=0

Parameter to select PA adaptive mode to OFF

X=1

Parameter to select PA adaptive mode to ON

X=Null

Parameter to return the current mode

Return Values

The command will return the updated condition (On=1, Off=0)

of the PA adaptive mode in the same format as the command.
