Setup
The Setup tab of the MBOX Studio application window is used to:
+
Set the operating mode and Art-Net universe for the MBOX Studio software.
+
Set the software to start in either Window or Fullscreen mode. For Window mode, the window size can be set. For
Fullscreen mode, the resolution can be set.
+
Input License Key to authorize the software.
+
Set a width and height for Textures.
+
Set the network port for CITP communications between MBOX Studio and MBOX Remote and/or any lighting
console or visualizer that supports CITP and MSEX. (Refer to
on page 88 for more information
about using this setting with the MBOX Remote application.)
+
Configure video inputs.
+
Verify the configuration of the connected I/O module output sections.
+
Enable or disable Diagnostics, Deinterlace, Pixel Mapping, and AIFF Audio File Playback.
Refer to the following pages for in-depth explanations about each of these settings.
Note:
The settings configured at this window are stored in a standard Mac Property List (.plist) format. This file,
located at
/Mbox/MboxSettings.plist
, stores the startup settings for the MBOX Studio software and the variables that
define its operating parameters: window size, screen size, etc. The most important of these settings can be adjusted
from the Setup tab, however, some advanced settings can only be adjusted using MBOX Remote. Refer to
on page 87 for more information.

have been changed and a software
restart is required to take effect.
