NEXT ZN? NO YES

Next Zone?

When YES is selected, the programming for the zone terminates and the display returns to

ZONE NO: - allowing you to enter a new zone number. To make changes to the Alarm Action

for a zone, answer the NEXT ZONE? prompt with NO. The Alarm Action is then defined in

the following sections.

7.6

ALARM ACTION . . . .

Alarm Action

The Alarm Action section allows you to change or confirm the default alarm characteristics of a

zone type.
The Fire Verify zone type functions the same as Fire zone with the following exceptions: When a

Fire Verify zone is placed into shorted condition, the panel performs a Sensor Reset and does not

send a report. If any Fire Verify or Fire zone initiates an alarm within 120 seconds after the reset,

an alarm is indicated. If an alarm is initiated after 120 seconds, the cycle repeats. If no other Fire

Verify or Fire zone is alarmed within 120 seconds, a zone fault report is sent to the receiver.
