Text Input Methods
On-screen Keyboard
The on-screen keyboard displays automatically on the screen when you
need to enter text. To manually display the on-screen keyboard, simply tap
a text field where you want to enter text.
Toggles between 123/SYM
mode and ABC mode.
Selection Box
Tap an item (e.g., letter,
word, or symbol) to insert it
in the text field.
Modifying your LG keyboard characteristics
From the Home screen, touch and hold the Recent Apps Key
(in the
Touch Keys bar) > Settings > Language & input > the Settings icon
(next to LG Keyboard) > Keyboard height and layout.
The Bottom row keys setting allows you to select the default keys on
either side of the Space Key.
The Extended keyboard setting displays numeric keys on the top row of
the keyboard.
The Keyboard height setting allows you to change the size ratio
between the keyboard to the screen.
The Keyboard theme setting allows you to choose a theme for your
keyboard.
The Split keyboard setting allows you to split the keyboard in half by
spreading two fingers to the left and right.
The One-handed operation setting allows you to swipe the keyboard
left or right to adjust the position of the LG keyboard.
