5Turn MIC LEVEL and VOLUME to adjust the
microphone level and the speaker output level.

restore the stereo effect by pressing MPX until “NORMAL" appears
on the display.

Adjust the Music Key Control (for CD play oniy)

Press KEY CONTROL b/# to adjust
the music key.
To lower the key, press KEY CONTROL b .
To raise the key, press KEY CONTROL #.
When you sing along with CDs, follow the procedure below:
On the unit ONLY:

Rotate the MIC LEVEL to MIN.
i?Connect the microphone(s) (not supplied) hy
plugging it into the MIC 1 and/or MIC 2 jack.
5start playing the source — CD, tape or other
connected component.

microphone(s).
• By pressing REC START/STOP, you can record your
singing along if you want. (For more details, see page 21.)
To use microphone only
You can record using the microphone(s) without any
accompaniment.
1 Rotate the MIC LEVEL to MIN.
2 Connect the microphone(s) (not supplied)
hy plugging it into the MIC I and/or
MIC 2 jack.
3 Press CD ►/!!, then ■ di.
No background sound will be heard.
4 Rotate the MIC LEVEL and VOLUME controls as you
sing or speak into the microphone(s).
• By pressing REC START/STOP, you can record your
singing. (For more details, see page 21.)
To cancel the key adjustment, press KEY CONTROL b or
# until “KEY 0” appears on the display
Inoies I the music key each time you sing along to a
song
Once the music key is adjusted, the key level will not return to the
previous level automatically after playing a song.
The music key cannot be changed while recording.
Once the source is changed, the key level returns to 0.
The Sound Mode will be cancelled if the Multiplex sound is selected.
