Handling CDs
Hold a CD'by its’edges and center .

Cleaning CDs

from a CD, gently wipe it with a soft
cotton, cloth moving in straight lin.es .

Storing CDs
To protect your CDs, store them in .
their cases. Don’t Jeave them in the
player for a long time.
Damaged CDs
Toiavoid possible damage to your,
player, don’t attempt to play
cracked, or warped .CDs. .
Condensation
Condensation.of water vapor on
the pickup lens may prevent proper
operation of your CD player. To
eliminate the condensation, leavo
the player ON.for .several hours. .
Condensation may occur when: ^ .
• You bring the player from a cool ,
or cold place to, a warm or .
humid place.
• You operate, a heater in the
vicinity of the player.
• There’s a big difference .between
the player’s internal temperature
and the temperature of the
room the player is in.'
Before you transport your CD
player
1 Turn the player’s power ON.
Don’t load any CDs.
2 Wait until 5 seconds after J\IO
DISC appears on the display.
3 Turn the player's power OFF.
