Used to enable or disable the parental control function.
Repeat steps

Setting a secret
number.
• The secret number setting menu displays.
Input the 4-digit secret number by using
0-9.
Press A/T to select “Status”, and then press
ENTER
Select “New Secret No.”, and then press
Press to select “On” or “Off”, and then
press ENTER.
* Select “On" to enable and “Off to disable Parental
CTRL.
Press MENU to exit.
» You can skip steps 1 and 2 above while in the Parental
CTRL screen.
® The “V-Chip (DTV Only)" will only be selectable when a new
rating system can be downloaded via digital broadcasting
in the U.S.
