14. Key Lock
Key lock disables operation of the sensor's keys.
When the
button is pressed for 3 seconds or more while the
but-
ton is being held down, the
display will flash and the key lock
feature will be engaged.
This feature disables changes to sensor settings but allows switching of
the display.
*The same key combination will deactivate the key lock feature.

*1 The AP-V41WP and the 42WP use PNP output.
*2 The amplifier type with the letter “A” attached on its tail has the count
value display function. Also, the amplifier’s response toward the signals
from the head is faster.
*3 0.1% of F.S. when high-resolution mode is selected.
*4 Max. 20 mA when using expansion units.

Cause
Solution
• No difference in sensitivity (during 2
point tuning/AI tuning/active tuning).
• There is an applied pressure
of
±5 % of F.S. during ambient
pressure compensation.
• There is no sensor head connected.
• The connection to the sensor head is
broken.
• An excess current is flowing to the
control output.
• Reading is falling below (exceeding)
configuration/display pressure range.
• Reading is exceeding (falling below)
configuration/display pressure range.
• The count value exceeds 19999.
• Zero shift timing and threshold
settings are not optimum for suction
detection.
• There were not at least 2 shift inputs
received during AI tuning/active
tuning.
• The pressure for step 2) of the AI
tuning procedure is not higher than the
pressure for step 1).
Adjust the air pressure device so that
there will be a difference in sensitivity.
Revert to ambient pressure and readjust
sensitivity.
Verify that a sensor head is connected
and turn the power on again.
Check whether the connection to the
sensor head is broken and turn the power
on again.
Check the load and return it to the rated
range.
Return the pressure to the rated pressure
range.
• Return the pressure to the rated pressure
range.
• Reset the count value.
The difference in pressures for a target
object being present and absent for
zero shift timing is too large. Adjust
the settings.
Repeat the active tuning procedure so
that at least 2 shift inputs are received.
Check the pressure readings when the
target object is present and when it is
absent and repeat the tuning procedure.
