material guide.
n
The source material container (8) must be inserted. A locking mecha-
nism keeps it closed during operation and prevents the jaw crusher
from being opened after start-up.

2.8.1 General Information
n
The jaw crusher is switched on and off using the main switch (9).
– Push the main switch (9) to the start position à the jaw
crusher is ready for operation within a few seconds.
– After stopping the crushing process with the Stop button, the
jaw crusher can be switched off with the main switch (9) in the
stop position .
n
The jaw crusher has a motor protection switch adapted to the mains
voltage (in accordance with the type plate), which is integrated in
the main switch.
In the event of an overload or a defective motor or cable, the motor
protection switch automatically disconnects the unit from the power
supply. After eliminating the fault, the device can be switched back
on again using the main switch (9).
2.8.2 Protection against restart
In the event of a power failure during operation, the jaw crusher comes
to a stop: this happens after about 3 seconds.
When the power supply is restored, the jaw crusher does not start up.
