6 Maintenance

During maintenance work that does not require a power
supply, unplug the mains plug (20) and secure the
instrument against unauthorised reactivation before starting
the work!

Warn about maintenance work with a sign.

Regular cleaning is (chapter 5) the most important maintenance
function for the cutting mill.

Filtering exhaust air

Clean the air filter (25). To do this, use a screwdriver
or similar tool to lever out the filter holder (a) upward.
Knock out the filter foam mat (B). Clean using
compressed air or a vacuum cleaner. If the filter foam
mat (B) is extremely dirty, replace it with a new one.
Part number: 90.0740.16 filter foam mat.

Is the cover flap (6) held closed when the main switch
(19) is at 0 (OFF)? If NO , the safety lock is defective.
Immediately disconnect the instrument from the mains.
Replace the safety lock.
