PULVERISETTE 25

4.4 Overloading of the Cutting Mill

During loading and during the downwards movements of the
piston (23), attention should be paid to the noise of the grinding
process. The volume of the noise corresponds very closely to the
loading of the machine. It is also clear from the sound pitch if the
motor speed is decreasing due to overloading.

Pulling the piston (23) back in good time will prevent overloading
of the mill and prolong the life of the rotor (3), stationary knives
(4,5,9) and the sieve cassette (7).

If the cutting mill is overloaded, the motor protection switch
shuts off the mill.

An overload is indicated by lighting of the red Stop button.

In this case, do as follows:

1. Set the main switch (19) on the back of the instrument to 0

(OFF).

2. Disconnect the cutting mill from the mains (pull the mains plug

(20) out of the socket).

3. Allow the device to cool down.

4. Unscrew the 3 screws holding the motor cover (14) in place.

5. Carefully lift off the motor cover (14).

6. Press the blue Reset switch. This must be set to "H".
