— The program that you are
trying to open is missing an essential file. To remove and then reinstall the
program:

Cliek the Start button, point to Settings, and then eliek Control Panel.

Double-eliek the Add/Remove Programs ieon.

Seleet the program that you want to remove.

Cliek Add/Remove and follow the prompts on the sereen.

A solid blue screen appears T u r n t h e c o m p u t e r o f f — if the eomputer does not respond to a keystroke or a proper shutdown (see page 14), press the power button until the eomputer sereen appears beeause you were not able to perform a proper Windows the instruetions on the sereen.
