Shipping Carton 2:
• Roller Base Assembly
Set Up
1. Carefully remove the contents from both shipping
cartons. Do not damage the colposcope head.
2. Lock all wheels on the roller base assembly.
3. Insert the post into the base assembly with the light
source upright. Push until the post feels tight.
4. Tilt the base assembly and post sideways, do not
rest the assembly on the light source.
5. Slide the post collar onto the bottom of the post
making sure that the collar is flush against underside
of base before tightening the set screw. Using the
hex socket wrench provided, tighten the set screw
until the post collar is firmly seated.
6. Tip the light source post and base assembly back
into an upright position. Insert the arm pivot shaft
into the top of the light source post.
7. Place the fiber optic cable adapter onto the fiber
optic cable and tighten the set screw (if the adapter
is not already attached).
8. Plug the fiber optic light bundle (attached to the
colposcope head) into the light source.
