Follow these steps to get the IP address for a SYMbalance node:
1. To get a SYMbalance node IP address, connect to the active shelf manager serial port.
2. Login with admin:admin
3. Type command:
# set localaddr 0x20
4. To get the address for slot 7:
Type # set targetaddr 0x8E
5. To get the address for slot 9:
Type # set targetaddr 0x92
6. Type # lan print 1
Figure 19 shows the information displayed when slot 7 or slot 9 is selected for use as a SYMbalance node.
